There is something about bitchy gay men that transcends the worst of straight men. Especially fags with a mission. I encountered a whole string of them at work. They were all desperate to get tickets for a party in San Francisco - mind you, I'm in Los Angeles. At work, we sold these tickets as a public service and generated no revenue from it (it was a fundraiser). Several self-righteous queens threw temper tantrums over the whole ordeal - as we ran out. One particularly venemous skink had the nerve to insist that I do something about it. Hmmm.... customer comes first...major dilemma... ears are blowing steam... and I bite my forked tongue and don't strike back.
